CHAPTER 90 - THE BOY WITH GREEN EYES

Most of the scholarship students at the Royal Magic Academy are boys and girls around the age of ten, but due to that there were also only about twenty or thirty of them.

Since most scholarship students were not well-off and came from remote villages, they couldn't afford the high tuition fees. So the school would simply allocate two spacious rooms to them. That house was for the scholarship students to live in.

The two rooms were all occupied by beginner students. Yun Sheng asked why there were no intermediate scholarship students.

From Gu Feng, she learned that the intermediate students would no longer live in the dormitory for scholarship students.

The intermediate students at the Royal Magic Academy were at least Magic Officers. They would already go outside and work part-time as mercenaries or magicians hired by wealthy families without needing to worry about the tuition fees.

The Royal Magic Academy was a school that allowed their students to stay there for at most ten years. Take a six-years-old magician as an example, they could only study at the Royal Magic Academy for up to five years. During these five years, they must pass the test to advance to intermediate level.

If they could not pass the exam, then they would be expelled from the academy.

Each year, only sixty percent of the students would receive a passing grade, and these ones could choose to stay in the academy. Until graduation you could also try to enter the five elite camps organized by the five great countries of the continent.

Because the threshold of the elite camps was so high, only few among the intermediate students could reach it.

But staying in the academy meant not being able to learn more advanced magic. So, most of the students would choose to leave early. They would go to countries with better conditions for the study of magic and enter the Magic Academies and Magic Arenas there.

Such a situation was even more common among the common scholarship students. Intermediate students who could no longer bear the several years of bitter bullying would leave the Magic Academy as soon as they became intermediate students.

Instead, it was the intermediate students who came from good families who would choose to continue using the resources of the school's Central Magic Tower and stay to continue their studies.

That's why Gu Feng said there were no intermediate students among the scholarship students.

When Yun Sheng and Gu Feng arrived at the dormitory, it was already half dark.

As soon as they entered the dormitory, what they saw were more than ten gridded beds similar to bunk beds.

A group of children around the age of ten were standing in the dormitory.

When they saw Gu Feng, they all revealed a look of contempt, even among the scholarship students were groups. The groups belonging to the Magic Fighting Department had always considered themselves superior to the scholarship students of the Potion Department.

Moreover, Gu Feng was a well-known waste in the Potion Department.

A few days earlier, they had heard that a scholarship student had been admitted to school suddenly to the Potion Department. Now that Yun Sheng and Gu Feng had come in together, everyone immediately understood. Yun Sheng was the new scholarship student.

A skinny little guy, she had even brought a dog with her?

"No animals allowed in the dorm, newbie!" The oldest of the scholarship students, Mo Ting, walked over and, trying to show his dominance, pushed Yun Sheng.

Who knew that after he gave a push, the little girl in front of him who looked weak and tiny, actually didn't move from the spot, standing as firmly as a fixed nail.

"Xiao Hei isn't some animal, he is my War Pet!" Yun Sheng stared at Mo Ting unkindly, she could sense that the male student in front of her had bad intentions.

During her speech, without warning, Yun Sheng grabbed the boy's hand, stopped his motion, held his joints, and with a beautiful internal rotation, pushed him back.

Mo Ting staggered on his feet and fell embarrassingly to the ground.

A thought quickly crossed his mind!

Was this student a dual-cultivator?!

No, she looked skinny and tiny, completely different from those muscular and tall warriors.

After denying the idea of Yun Sheng being a warrior, Mo Ting immediately stood up. He pulled out his magic scepter and chanted under his breath.

A new student who had just arrived dared to offend him, the second most powerful of the scholarship students. It should be told that apart from that ghostly poison boy, there was not a single person that dared to offend this young man.

As Mo Ting chanted, zinging blue-purple flashes of electricity emerged from the magic scepter in his hand!

A secondary element lightning magician?

Yun Sheng also did not show any weakness in drawing her magic scepter. She quickly chanted, and from the ground several earth spikes emerged. Mo Ting was frightened, while taking a few steps back, he was forced to dissolve his spell.

How could her chanting be so fast!

Mo Ting was reluctant and wanted to chant a second spell when suddenly, the entire dormitory quieted down, even Mo Ting went silent.

A ghostly person drifted into the dormitory.

It was a boy in a green cloak. Aside from his pair of ghostly green eyes, Yun Sheng couldn't see the rest of his appearance, even the gender couldn't be made out.

In the dormitory, no one but Yun Sheng had noticed when this boy came in.

It was as if he was nothing but a gust of wind, by the time you noticed the sudden coolness, he had already passed by.

As soon as Gu Feng saw the visitor, his face, which was originally white from fright, immediately regained its red glow as if bursting with blood.

"Qi...it's good that you're back...Mo Ting tried to bully Yun Sheng...I forgot to introduce you...Yun Sheng is the new scholarship student...she is also the kind-hearted person who saved me...that I mentioned to you earlier...she is...a new member of the 13th Potion team," Gu Feng stammered. The boy in green completely ignored it.

He walked right up to Yun Sheng and handed a brand-new futon to her.

"Mentor Mei Li asked me to give it to you," Yun Sheng had a curious look at Qi's abandoned eyes a few times, trying to perceive his true face under his cloak.

Yun Sheng was about to take a closer look when she suddenly felt a chill come over her, and those dark green eyes shone with disgust and warning.

Staring at her!

What is it!

How dare a little kid stare at her so blatantly!

Yun Sheng was furious. She didn't care how great that kid called Qi was in the scholarship dormitory or if he was a member of her own team. He dared to glare at her, she wasn't least bit afraid of him.

Yun Sheng also didn't take the futon either, just simply staring at each other.

The two of them were just like they had been petrified, black eyes against green eyes, no one wanted to give in.

This made Gu Feng anxious, and the little fatty busily tried to get in between the two, while constantly persuading.

"Yun Sheng...Qi doesn't like people staring at him...although he looks a bit shady...he's actually a nice guy...in class he always helps me...you guys need to get along...it's a new futon...Mentor Mei Li is so unfair," Gu Feng was busy trying to step forward and take the discarded futon in his hand.

Just when Gu Feng was about to pick it up, the magic scepter in Yun Sheng's hand, slapped Gu Feng's hand with a loud sound.

Gu Feng felt the stinging pain, when he had been slapped, he had only just gotten his hands on the quilt, but immediately withdrew them, the seemingly new futon was messily thrown to the floor.

It came apart, and from it some fine powder scattered.

"Don't touch that futon if you don't want to get up tomorrow morning and discover that your hand had been ruined," Yun Sheng covered her mouth and nose and kicked the futon away with her foot.

This scholarship student wasn't simple.

Under the cloak, the pair of green eyes flashed with a strange color.
